Two new Sanctuary Housing Facility in Chinatown and Long Island City are looking for Residential Aides and Shift Supervisors who will act as floor monitors and on-site client service coordinators assisting with client move in, move-out, and program general operations support.

Residential Shift Supervisor is assigned to teams of on-site support staff, Residential Aides. Bi-lingual English and Spanish a plus!

Must have an F-80 and Food Handler’s Permit or willing to get one at your own expense. F-80 is $140, Food handler permit, $25. TB Tests are required upon hiring.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Residential Aides in their delivery of services.
• Train and evaluate Residential Aides.
• Assist with on-site services delivery providing support duties, such as client outreach, communications.
• Provide client interfacing during evening and night shifts when main staff are away.
• Assist with food services implementation.
• Assist with preparation of area for recreational activities and other training or on-site activities.
• Help gather client data collection for services involved. 
• Participate in training relating to program improvement.
• When possible and capable, offer peer assistance. 
• Participate in individual and group support.
• Participate in agency and program Q/A process.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience working with People with health, homelessness, poverty, and cultural/language issues.
