EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT SERVICES
Educational Enrichment at Destination Tomorrow provides warp around educational services. Each client is provided with an individualized plan based on their goals. DT is a provider in a New York State High School Equivalency program, Google professional development courses, and a 12-week workshop with a focus on financial literacy; career readiness, and social life skills. Here is a list of the name of programs mentioned above within the department:
NEDP: The national external diploma program is a fully remote, self-paced, life skills based free option to New Yorkers who are 18 and older looking to obtain their local High school diploma.
LGBTQIA+ sensitivity trainings
G.P.S: The G.P.S program is to provide resources and educational courses to at risk LGBTQIA+ members in our community to learn and improve their professional development, financial literacy and social emotional competency-based life skills. G.P.S stands for growth, prosperity, and sustainability as these are all the ways we aim to serve our community and navigate all students towards success.
LGBTQIA+ Sensitivity Trainings: DT also offers trainings to community members, partners, and organizations looking to expand their current knowledge on terms, policies, and culturally sensitive information.
