Da Bronx Pride Festival
Destination Tomorrow: The Bronx LGBTQ Center (DT) is proud to be Executive Producer of BRONX PRIDE WEEK which includes “Da Bronx Pride Festival” the LQBTQIA= Pride Festival of The Bronx. Taking place every year during Bronx LGBTQ Pride weekend the third weekend in June. Last year the event was located at 139th street between Brooke Ave and Willis Ave on Saturday June 19th, 2021 from 1pm to 6pm.
It was an honor to have all the attendees, presenters, and community leaders present during the last celebration.
As our agencies and Bronx community navigate a path to normalcy together after enduring the pandemic, DT has carefully decided to hold a celebration to commemorate a time that LGBTQ+ members and our allies hold dear in the Bronx: Pride. It is a time of connection and community. Although we are not operating at full speed as a borough, we want to take advantage of a time we are able to carefully gather and reflect.
The event was prepared with the intention to show our acknowledgment to the LGBTQ+ community of the Bronx as well as its need for advocacy and connection. This event served as an outstanding opportunity for us to show appreciation all of our services, business, and commitment at the same time.
We would like to thank all our preliminary collaborators in helping to keep the tradition of having a pride celebration that the Bronx LGBTQ community creates and facilitates.
